When I hear their names
there's an image I find
Of two smiling faces
so clear in my mind
Of a walk with my dog
I stopped at the fountain
to watch two pretty girls
enjoy candy they'ed gotten
They loved my dogs name
Muggins or Mugs
they held her with care
and gave her big hugs
The days passed quickly
in july 97
Now they're hugging a dog
at a fountain in heaven
I have many fond memories
when I think of the fountain
and of two pretty girls
eating candy they'ed gotten
This is a true story--those two girls were killed in a car --by a train---so hence the poem
